This lesson examines the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASWA). Many different sub regulations emanate from this law.
Introduction to Health & Safety

This short course is composed of three lessons, each followed by a quiz testing knowledge. The quiz is written from the point of view of a principal dentist, but DCPs and associates can equally answer, as the knowledge is required regardless. With such a vast topic area, this course can only provide the briefest of overviews in the time available. But, the aim is that it will stimulate interest in practice and patient safety, as well as providing pointers for finding out more.
Satisfactory completion of the course will result in one hour of enhanced CPD (outcome C). You will be provided with an online certificate following the completion of a short feedback form.
