Apply to join the Yorkshire & Humber Oral Medicine Advice & Guidance Pilot

An new service offering for Yorkshire & Humber

We are excited to announce that a new Advice & Guidance service is to be piloted in Yorkshire and Humber shortly.  Working with Leeds Dental Insititute, we are providing our new Advisr system to dentists seeking help, support and advice for Oral Medicine Referrals.  If you are a dentist working in Yorkshire & Humber, and are already using the Dental Referrals System then you can apply to join our pilot and be amoung the first dentists in the UK to access this system.

About the system

The new service connects you to Consultants at the hospital directlty from your practice enabling you to engage in a two way advice and guidance process that will help with:

* Getting rapid advice on oral medicine issues
* Help with diagnosis of soft tissue lesions
* Management and review of patients

The system is designed to help reduce the number of unncessary referrals to hospital and make access to care easier across the YAH footprint.

You can learn more about Advisr from the video below as well as from our case example.

Joining the Pilot

If you would like to join the pilot, then please read the requirements below.  By joining the pilot you agree to:

*Use the A&G system before any routine oral medicine referral – you can convert an A&G conversation to a referral without the need to re-enter any information
*Not use the A&G system for clear 2 week wait referrals, although you can gain advice prior to referral if you are unsure
*Upload images when ever you can to help support the A&G process
*Consider the A&G a professional, medico-legal document that can be viewed by the patient should they request it
*Notify us of any issues you experience with the system
*Agree to share useage data and feedback for the pilot process

If you are happy to go ahead, fill in the form and we will get you started.

Next steps

Once you have submitted the form you will receive a notification from us, and then more details about the next stages for onboarding.

We will send you login information, the data sharing agreement and other information on how to use the system during the pilot.
