Feedback from patients
We always want to hear feedback, good or bad, on our services. We have kept our feedback forms simple and easy to use.

Simply tell us who you are and let us know what you think. Please include your contact details or practice details if you would like us to get back to you. We take all feedback seriously, good or bad.

Please note this feedback is different from our formal complaints policy, which you can read more about here. We are also interested in feedback on communication – what can we do to improve this and what resources would be helpful? You can also read about changes that we have made to the service by reading our updates here.

You can read how are your data are used and our privacy policy here.  We don’t share your information with anyone else.

Our services are all informed by our commissioning area teams (NHS England) – we regularly attend patient group meetings. If you would like us to attend one of your events then please get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Please be aware that we can only comment on services provided by us – if you have an issue with waiting times at a secondary or primary care provider, please contact them directly.

What have we changed?

Our service is constantly evolving and we use your feedback to change what we do.  Some of the changes that we have made recently include:

Tracking a Referral – we have changed the tracker so that the local initials, ie. MAN, or THV, have to be entered on a separate line from the seven digits. Patients and reported that it was confusing when these were entered on a single line. We also now send, where consent is given, an SMS text message with the URN.

Travel information – we have provided detailed, custom maps for all of our directory of services providers.  This makes finding primary care sites even easier for patients and carers.

Dental Guides – we now provide emailed information to patients concerning their dental treatments, their referral and what they might expect when they visit their referral provider.  For example we provide a leaflet on oral care for patients with braces.

Dental Specialities – we received lots of questions from patients about the different kinds of dental specialities – we produced individual pages on the website to explain each one – see here for example.

All of these changes have been brought about from feedback from our service users – patients and their referring dentists.  Please use the feedback forms online or simply email us if you have any comments for us.
