Orthodontic waitlist validation
On behalf of NHS England, the Dental Referral Management Centre is undertaking a review of the Cheshire & Merseyside Orthodontic waiting list. The review process will reduce waiting lists and ensure as many patients as possible are treated by prioritising those who need treatment.
We have found in the past that some patients have moved away, others have received care at another provider and some patients simply no longer want treatment. By identifying those patients who no longer require treatment we can progress the waiting list more efficiently so your child will have access to treatment sooner.
As part of this exercise we are contacting all patients who have been referred for orthodontic treatment to find out:
- If you still require NHS orthodontic treatment; and
- If the contact details we hold are correct
