What are the referral criteria for patients?

Denture provision.

Patients between 3 and 12 yrs of age.
Minimum weight 15kgs – Maximum weight 50kgs.
Tameside residents only (due to 1 hr travel limit imposed by hospital).
Routine extraction for pain &/or sepsis.

Patients up to 16 yrs of age.
Fillings, extractions of any teeth.

Routine care, no age limitations.

What are the main reasons for rejecting patients?

No single tooth extraction.
No orthodontic extractions.

No surgical extraction for children.

A weight limit of 137kgs (21.5 stones) on the dental chairs.
